Golden

Midnight Floral Crown: CultGaia

I had a little Cult Gaia phase a year a so ago, and bought this crown and a green paper beauty. I didn't think the black crown through, though, because I have black hair, so the colors just blended in. I took some initiative and sprayed the crown with some metallic gold paint to make it pop, and to really make it my own.
Definitely plan on wearing this a lot more often, with a lot fewer comments about the fact that it looks like some funky 70's/80's era hairdo from far away.

I'm really excited that this is the first post of the new blog! I'm hoping to expand my blogging horizons a little more while curbing my content and editing, and really trying to make it as clean and high-quality as possible.
The Off-Beat Edit (or TOBE for short) now focuses on not only personal style and some thoughts on the industry, but takes a bigger role in reviewing a few standout collections, pieces, and bodies of work from well-known and up-and-coming artists and designers, in both graphic design, contemporary/and/or traditional fine arts, and fashion. It reflects a breadth of my interests, and you'll even get to see sneak peeks of projects I'm working on!

Hint: I've finally picked up knitting needles for the first time in 2 years, they're a size 0, and I'm planning on using them  extremely well.

(I've also decided to try making those fancy #fblogger wishlist collages, because I know you were curious. No promises though!)
